Waarom doen wij dit?

Creating a CRM is not something you can do in an afternoon. And aren’t there already good solutions? We explain!

 The short version.

First the short version. After years of working in sales and relationship management, talking to many account managers and trying out countless systems, it was clear to us. A CRM system that is simple, pleasant and fast and a system that supports you in building relationships. That’s what we were looking for, but couldn’t find.

 It begins

Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Perfectview, Hubspot, Excel, Airtable, Teamleader and so on. These are all very clever systems that are very good at what they do. And that’s usually sales funnels and pipelines. Except of course Excel, because it is really used for everything, or should I say misused…

At one point there was a startup working in Microsoft Dynamics. The reason she worked with that, in the beginning they got this from Microsoft almost for free. And yes, that is very nice if you are just starting out and have no money. Microsoft knows very well that once you are in it, you are not going to switch quickly. And that was true in this case. It was worked on for years. What a dragon of a system. MS Dynamics is not bad, but how it was used is.

Then came SalesForce. You would think a modern CRM. This system was also converted into a modern dragon. Before it even got started, the fun was over. And here too, Salesforce is really not a bad program. But how it was worked with was no fun for many employees.

 Building relationships

Then there were people who worked for organizations focused on building relationships. Not pushing a “lead” through a “sales funnel”, with all kinds of “smart” follow-ups and reminders. No, building relationships with people is what it’s all about. Simply make a note after a conversation, which you can easily find again afterwards, for example in preparation for the next meeting with this relationship.

Also from the non-profit angle, it emerged that there were no suitable, let alone affordable, systems to keep track of relationships, tasks and notes. A kind of central hub to store all knowledge. There too, the story came up more than once of an accidentally deleted Excel file, oops, data gone. Certainly non-profit organizations that rely on volunteers and usually have very limited budgets cannot afford monthly costs of €50 per month per user (or more).

 How?

Easy. Simple. Safe. No fuss.

That’s what Qraia CRM does. It must be simple and clear. At a glance you should understand what it is about. And it should be very easy to use, that’s why we introduced our 30 second rule ; Sign up within 30 seconds and save your first contact.

Of course it must be a safe system. So that all data is not accidentally lost. Or that someone will make off with it. Data and relationships are often the essence of the organization, which is why security and reliability are so important.

And lastly, we hate unnecessary fuss. Bells and whistles that you never use only make the system more difficult without adding value.

 To develop

Then you start building a CRM around this. That always takes longer than you think. You encounter more obstacles than you expect (or hope?!). And during the process of building and collecting feedback, it turns out to be different than you think.

But over time, a simple and simple CRM will emerge. And that’s why you do it.

 Feedback

Simple, easy and secure are the building blocks of Qraia CRM. The feedback from users is that this is a relief. They didn’t expect it to be so easy, so clear and so fast. That
